Were and Fur Meets

Ohio and Indiana, 30 June - 11 July 2002

These are some of the photographs that I took during the first couple weeks or so that I spent in America in 2002.  After stopping a night in Philadelphia, I headed out to some friends in south-western Ohio, before spending the rest of the time pre Anthrocon 2002 in the suburbs of Indianapolis.  Most of these two weeks were spent getting to meet and talk to friends, both old and new alike.  Other pages you might be interested in seeing are:

  • Images from Wolf Park - Pictures from the couple of times I visited Wolf Park - an Indiana-based centre for wolf conservation - while in America in 2002.

  • Mexican Wolves - Images of the trio of lupines kept at the National Zoological Park in Washington DC.

The little thumbnails below all point to the full-sized pictures.  If you'd like a copy of any of the full-resolution photos or want to see some of the near-duplicates that I didn't upload, feel free to email me.

Not strictly Ohio and Indiana, I spend the first night in America with some friends in Philadelphia, before travelling out west.  Panther is on the left, together with BearX and his wife Tara.
BearX, showing off his wedding outfit - a bear costume built by Big Bad Wolf.
BearX examines inside his head for loose screws.  His fursuit head, that is!
Tara, looking incredibly happy about something, plays with one of their two cats.
BearX's somewhat more human self.
Aerofox and Loriana, enjoying a quick cuddle in Burger King, in Sidney, Ohio.
The silver-phased vixen at the Bruckner Nature Centre, where Loriana volunteers to helps out part-time.
And this is the centre's cross-phased fox.  A somewhat feisty little individual, with a penchant for stealing objects and bottom-pinching.
